265-1303 Janet Schiesl started Basic Organization in 2005 to provide professional organizing services to busy families, home-based business owners, downsizing seniors and the chronically disorganized in the Washington DC Metro area. She helps people gain the skills to get organized and live a more simplified life. Janet provides her clients with ideas, information, structure and solutions to help them gain control of their most important space—their homes. Janet gained 17 years of space planning experience while working at an interior design firm in the Washington DC area. Janet Schiesl is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers and the current President of the Washington DC Chapter (NAPO-WDC). She is the recipient of the Volunteer of the Year Award from NAPO-WDC (2008) and the Organizer of the Year Award from NAPO-WDC (2009). Janet also sits on the board of directors of the Association of Interior Design Professionals (AIDP) DC Metro Chapter and is a member of the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization. |
